CIC VIRTUAL School Leadership Retreat – Sept. 23 only

CHRIST IN THE CLASSROOM VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP RETREAT

We invite you to join us in solidarity with one another and in communion with our Church, to step back on Thursday, find that quiet place, and allow yourselves to be grounded and centered through this opportunity.  We thank Fr. Watson’s quick pivot to the virtual experience.

The Six Tasks of Catechesis, Task Four: Learning to Pray, speaks to the importance of teaching our young people to pray using both traditional Catholic prayers as well as the diverse forms and expressions of prayer.  We also hope to assist our students as each develops a relationship with Jesus that is fostered by regular patterns of prayer.  And, perhaps most important, to remember to begin and end our meetings, classes and days with prayer.

NEWLY designed virtual Christ in the Classroom Leadership Retreat Thursday only, Sept. 23.

Father Bill Watson, President and Founder of The Sacred Story Insititute  will help us deepen our knowledge and experience with Task 4: Prayer.  Per their mission, the Sacred Story Institute exists to help individuals and faith communities develop a deep, personal relationship with God through daily meditation & prayer resources based on Ignatian spirituality. Father will be guiding us to enter into prayer more deeply so on Friday, October 15th, YOU, as Spiritual Leader of your school community, can share and model our learning at your own local CIC Retreat. (In-person or virtually).
