Service Awards The Deadline for 2025/2026 awards was February 19th, 2026. Please contact Synthiea.Kaldi@seattlearch.org for assistance

Years of Service Awards for Catholic school staff are given out annually to those being recognized for significant years serving our Catholic Schools. It is the responsibility of each school to submit names of individuals receiving awards. We STRONGLY recommend polling your staff on how many years they’ve been in Catholic education. This includes any school position, in any location, even other Archdioceses! Years do not have to be consecutive. Years before break + years after = total.

Award Recipient names are collected by the below online form. With our new logo, we will be putting in one order and the awards will be ready for pick up at the All Principals meeting May 14, 2026. If you missed someone, please reach out to Synthiea directly.

Please see the bottom of this page for the complete service award schedule.

Seventh Grade Student Leadership Awards – Award ribbons and pins will also be available at the All Principals meeting May 14th. Please contact Synthiea.Kaldi@seattlearch.org for assistance.

Student Leadership Awards are presented to 7th grade students at our participating Catholic schools. There are four areas of leadership that can receive recognition: Academic, Co-curricular, Faith, and Community Service. Schools or regions can organize a ceremony for the seventh graders to present these awards to those being recognized. Pins and ribbons for each category are available upon request.

      Years of Service Awards

All service awards have been updated to the new OCS logo! If you’d like pins honoring past years for any of your staff, please let Synthiea know as we have some stock with the previous logo.

We hope that teachers and staff will proudly wear these on their school lanyards/IDs.

We encourage schools to regularly honor the service of their teachers and staff. ESPECIALLY in years 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 when, teachers are statistically most likely to leave the profession. To improve teacher and staff retention, we urge schools to move their service awards ceremony to either Catholic Schools Week in Jan/Feb, or Teacher Appreciation Week which is the first full week of May.
