Archbishop Paul D. Etienne, Presider

Seattle University—St. Ignatius Chapel

901 12th Avenue | Seattle, Washington

The Black Catholic Advisory Circle of the Archdiocese of Seattle in partnership with the Seattle University Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture will host a Mass celebrating the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This Mass draws Catholics from all backgrounds in the Archdiocese and reminds us to pause and reflect individually on what we are doing to build the culture of love, respect and peace to which the Gospel calls us. Our guest speaker is retired Judge Judith Hightower. A native of Seattle, she is a champion activist and defender of the underserved. She has a passion for access to justice issues and educating others in schools and the community about the law and legal professions.
