The E-Rate task force worked with over 50 Archdiocese of Seattle schools to submit 70 applications for 2019 E-Rate funding grants. 100% of the grants were approved for funding!
A sincere thank you to all that helped make necessary calls and complete important documents to make these projects possible.
For the 2019-2020 school year, we have secured $109,000 of FCC funds to provide Internet to 53 of our schools. In addition, 8 schools will receive a combined total of $75,000 in classroom WiFi network equipment. The WiFi network equipment installation will be completed by the end of August.

In 2019, over fifty Archdiocese of Seattle schools received FCC E-Rate discount awards for Internet service. For example, six high schools received an average of $9,200 in annual discounts.
All Archdiocese of Seattle schools are eligible for E-Rate participation as independent private schools.
