Beyond Medication: Alternative Strategies and Testing Methods for Mental Health Conditions
Please join Dr. Jennifer Kaltunas, ND, EAMP for a discussion on non-pharmaceutical strategies and advanced testing methods used for treating mental health conditions. We will explore tests that evaluate possible underlying physiological causes of these conditions such as imbalances in hormones, nutrients, inflammatory response, neurotransmitters, environmental toxicities, the gut microbiome and genetics. We will also look at genetic testing that can shed light on the most effective pharmaceutical treatments, with the lowest risk of side effects. Leave with a richer understanding on how to support yourself, family or friends to discover the best treatment approach for their mental health condition that moves beyond the trial and error of pharmaceutical medications.
