Innovative Housing Project

Overview

Our Innovative Housing Program serves to build leadership capacity in the Archdiocese of Seattle for our schools, parishes, and ministry programs by providing affordable housing to those serving the church. The program will bring new life to church spaces that have been underutilized, recruit and retain young professionals to live in Archdiocese when the cost of living might have prohibited them to do so and provide parishes with young professional engagement.

The Innovative Housing Project is focused on affordable housing and intentional community for Catholic School teachers in the Archdiocese of Seattle within the first five years of their career.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide affordable housing for all the 9 regions of the Archdiocese and expand to provide a menu of affordable housing options for those serving in the Archdiocese in all capacities.   

Our First Property

St. Alphonsus Parish

Location: St. Alphonsus is located in the heart of Ballard just a few blocks from downtown Ballard.  St. Alphonsus is centrally located and only a few blocks away from several bus routes including the D line which goes downtown via Queen Anne, Route 40 which goes to Northgate or downtown Seattle via Fremont and Route 44 which goes to UW via Wallingford.
