Missions Office – Rice Bowl is coming!

Greetings!

It’s that time again! Catholic Relief Services is shipping the Rice Bowl materials  (to all parishes and to participating schools) this week. Please let us know if you haven’t received your materials by January 25. A note about placemats and donation envelopes (for pews or stapling to/inserting into bulletins near end of Lent): if you ordered one or both items, you will receive them separately before Ash Wednesday.
When your bulk materials arrive, please check the shipment ASAP to assure you have received the amount of (free) materials needed for your community this Lent, including
the Rice Bowls/Lenten Calendars; we will gladly order more for you. One can see all of the materials at www.crsricebowl.org / www.crsplatodearroz.org. Please do not order directly from CRS – we coordinate the ordering process for this archdiocese!
Sign up for a Rice Bowl training near you!
We are offering several regional Rice Bowl trainings as an opportunity for you to learn more about the 2019 resources available and to share (and pick up!) best practices.
Rice Bowl Coordinators (you!), CRS Ambassadors, parish and school leadership, and all those excited to learn more about this signature Lenten faith experience are welcome!
