We are thrilled to welcome Matt Barmore as our retreat facilitator at Seabeck for formation in the First Task of Catechesis: Knowledge of the Faith. Matt has been an educator in Catholic schools for the past 41 years, the last 26 at Seattle Prep.  At various times at Prep, he served as the Principal, an English Teacher, and the Director of Adult Faith Formation.  He was also the Executive Director of the Ignatian Spirituality Center for three years.

This year’s retreat, “To Lead as Jesus Did”, focuses on understanding and applying Jesus’ personal characteristics and teaching techniques to own our school contexts.  Matt will be joined by Joanne Cecchini, principal at Christ the King, and Monica Wingard, principal at St. George, in presenting this retreat and sharing their insights.  Connor Geraghty will facilitate a collaborative closing session on Friday morning focused on applying and adapting the retreat experience for your own local retreats.

The Seabeck Conference Center is located at 13395 Lagoon Dr NW, Seabeck, WA 98380. Lodging and meals will be provided along with free parking.
