We are excited to share the following essential resources to help your communities prepare for the celebration of Black History Month in February.  Please access the links below and share them with your staff.

Dr. Ansel Augustine, Assistant Director of African American Affairs at the USCCB, will be joining us for our February 6th online principals’ meeting.  He will speak about the Saintly Six Black Catholics on the road to sainthood: Venerable Pierre Toussaint, Servant of God Mother Mary Lange, Venerable Henriette DeLille, Venerable Augustus Tolton, Servant of God Julia Greeley, and Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman.  Dr. Augustine is featured in the two documentary short films about Black Catholic history in New Orleans featured on this website.
