April 2025 Recruitment Update- 3 Fairs, PACE/CSTC and Innovative Housing

Three recruitment fairs are happening this April and they have traditionally been our best fairs for applicants.

Be sure to have your Frontline updated, be ready to receive applicant inquiries, inform those employed in Seattle about our Innovative Housing Program.

The fairs are:

  1. April 22nd- Gonzaga Educator Fair (Spokane)- Pam Schwartz is attending this event and will promote our Frontline openings.
  2. April 23rd- Washington State Educator Fair (Spokane)- Pam Schwartz is attending this event.
  3. April 30th- Washington State Educator Fair (Tacoma)– Kelly Surapaneni will be attending this event.

Information regarding the two teacher service programs, University of Portland’s (PACE) Program and Seattle University’s Teaching Corps Program:

  • Seattle University’s Teaching Corps Program (CSTC)Seattle University, in partnership with The Ferry Family Charitable Foundation, Fulcrum Foundation, and the Office for Catholic Schools, launched its inaugural Catholic Schools Teacher Corps (CSTC) program. This initiative provides funding for educators pursuing their Master of Education at Seattle University while actively serving their local communities. Contact for CSTC: Christopher Smith, smithc31@seattleu.edu
  • University of Portland, Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education Program (PACE) The Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE) is a two-year graduate teaching program serving Catholic schools in the western United States. PACE program participants teach full-time in K-12 Catholic schools, live together in intentional communities, and earn tuition-free graduate degrees in education. The PACE Teacher Interest & Request form: 2025-2026 serves 2 purposes for PACE planning:

  1. Gauge the interest level and ability of Catholic Schools in each of our PACE Community locations to participate for the coming school year.
  2. Allow each partner school to provide a list of teacher position openings for possible PACE placements (as they become known).
