Taking Learning Outside: Outdoor Classrooms

This course will present information on outdoor nature-based education practices. Information from this course includes a brief introduction to outdoor learning and how it supports healthy development for young children. The course will present how outdoor learning can support children’s learning, growth & development. Additionally, the course will present how an outdoor learning environment can support STEAM topics (Science, technology, art, math) as well as social emotional learning.
