Christ in the Classroom Leadership Retreat Registration: September 23-25, 2026

 We are blessed to announce that Fr. Dominic Briese will be our retreat facilitator at Seabeck for formation in the Third Task of Catechesis: Forming for Life in Christ.

Over the past 29 years, Fr. Dominic has served in numerous roles across Phoenix, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and California as a pastor, Newman Center director, retreat preacher, and educator, also teaching Theology and Ancient Civilization while assisting in parish ministry in Utah. Most recently the pastor of St. Martin de Porres Parish in Taylorsville, he now lives in Seattle as Prior of the Dominican community at Blessed Sacrament Priory and also serves as priest chaplain at Bishop Blanchet High School.

This year’s retreat theme focuses on exploring Jesus’ teachings in the Beatitudes, along with their application to our classrooms and school communities. Fr. Dominic will be joined by Kim Dawson, Head of School and Principal of Holy Names Academy, and David Burroughs, principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School, in presenting this retreat and sharing their insights. Connor Geraghty will facilitate a collaborative closing session on Friday morning focused on applying and adapting the retreat experience in preparation for your own local retreats.

The Seabeck Conference Center is located at 13395 Lagoon Dr NW, Seabeck, WA 98380. Lodging and meals will be provided along with free parking.
