Archdiocesan Youth Council
Dear School Leaders,
We are excited to invite 10th to 12th grade students from your school to apply for next year’s Youth Council, a unique leadership opportunity for high school teens to grow in their faith, serve others, and make a meaningful impact.
Youth Council members do more than participate-they represent the voice of young people in the Church. They help inform the Archdiocese about the real needs, experiences, and faith lives of youth today.
Through this experience, students:
- Develop leadership skills rooted in faith and service
- Help shape youth ministry across the Archdiocese
- Play a key role in planning major events like Catholic Youth Convention and Middle School Encounter
- Collaborate to discern and choose themes for future youth events
- Build strong, Christ-centered friendships
This is also a recognized leadership experience that strengthens college, scholarship, and resume applications.
How you can help:
- Share this opportunity in announcements or newsletters
- Personally invite students who demonstrate leadership potential
- Encourage Campus Ministry or Theology teachers to promote it
The deadline for applications is August 15th and students can apply here:

We especially encourage students to apply who may not yet see themselves as leaders but are open to growing. Your encouragement can make all the difference.
Thank you for supporting the formation of young leaders in the Church.
