Native American Heritage Month Resources
The Office for Catholic Schools, the Archdiocesan Native American Advisory Board and the Department of Intercultural Integration have curated a list of resources to support ongoing connection with our Native American cultural communities. We hope that these resource ideas are helpful in fostering learning experiences and connections with our local Native American communities during Native American Heritage Month in November and throughout the year.

Other Expressions of Culture
- Visit reservations and cultural centers. There are exhibits, art workshops and museums.
- Invite artists to give a lecture or a workshop at schools.
- Invite or do a Zoom call with native elders for story-telling.

- Read local tribes newsletters.
- Promote reading of story books and have the books available at school libraries. Invite a member of the native tribe to read the story to the students.
