PD&C Day is a half-day virtual PD series sponsored entirely by the Office for Catholic Schools for all Catholic school educators. Using feedback from various committees of teachers and administrators (DLC, GRACE, Curriculum Committees, etc.) we contract with speakers, consultants, and local specialists in various areas of education to support important work and progress in Catholic schools. Registration opened in mid-January and PD&C Day took place on Friday, February 7th, 2025 beginning with a keynote from our Superintendent, Nicholas Ford, at 8:30am. Sessions began at 9am and concluded at 12pm. Schools received guidance and a tool kit to use for the second part of the day, however, each school had the opportunity to create their own programming from noon until the end of the workday.
From 2024-25:
Our 2025 PD&C Day was a success! With over 1,100+ registered attendees, educators from around our Archdiocese were able to participate in high quality PD virtually. We are so grateful for the wide range of presenters and meeting facilitators.
We are also grateful for the presenters who were able to record their sessions so that our Catholic educators who participated (and those who may have not had the opportunity to participate on PD&C Day) can review the content of their presentations. You will find several options to watch below, and we hope that it is helpful to you as you continue to work on improving instructional practices, school improvement efforts and encourage life-long professional growth.
