High School Students Incentive Program – Now until September 19, 2020

Students can impact our blood supply, and earn a scholarship!  BLOODWORKS NORTHWEST

We know the year ahead will continue to look very different for all of us – including our learning experiences for students. In fact, as many colleges and universities are going virtual in the fall, we know that summer is an opportunity for students to earn extra funds to help out with expenses. Here is our proposal in this new virtual world. We want to help students earn a scholarship by helping us spread the message about blood donations during this critical time in our community.

Between now and September 19, a student can adopt a fixed Donor Center or Pop-Up Donor Center for a single day or a consecutive two week period, recruit donors to give blood, and we’ll reward them with up to $500 to spend on college expenses like tuition, fees, books, supplies, and even helping them pay off student loans. And we’ll give them a Bloodworks Northwest Certificate of Excellence too, which will really stand out on those college applications!  To participate, a student must be at least 16 years old and enrolled in high school, college, or an accredited educational institution.

Is your student part of a school group or club? They can recruit blood donors together by hosting a group fundraiser to earn money to use towards group events or related educational expenses.
