How to Use Google Classrooms Effectively PD – 09/25/2020 (2:00-3:30pm)

The Office of Catholic Schools is proud to offer Catholic school educators the opportunity to learn more about how to best utilize the functions of Google Classroom in a 1.5 hour professional development virtual session on Friday, Sept. 25th from 2:00-3:30pm hosted by Matt Jordan, St. Charles Tacoma Director of Technology. The PD is FREE but registration is required and you can complete the registration here.

Objectives of the PD:

  • To introduce the basics of technological instructional practices through the Google Classroom platform
  • To provide information about best practices in utilizing Google Classroom student platform in schools
  • To outline research-based and teacher-friendly utilization of Google Classroom features for the purpose of instructional effectiveness on a virtual teaching platform.
  • To provide some guidance on how to utilize assessment tools within the Google Classroom application
