Livestream Mass with Archbishop reaches 2000 views!

THANK YOU! As many of you witnessed on Monday, September 14th, Archbishop Paul Etienne celebrated the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross with all the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Seattle. While we could not gather for this Mass in Seattle, we did so through livestreaming. The archbishop shared a vision of the importance of Catholic schools during these difficult days. He reminded us that Catholic education begins with the story of Jesus, is rooted in our relationship with Jesus, and leads us to the Father through the love shared with us by Jesus. As leaders of Catholic schools, we help participate in the mission of Jesus Christ and the love of the Father made manifest in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

This mass secured 2000 views! I want to personally thank Archbishop Etienne, Deacon Bill Eckert, Campus Minister, Bellarmine Prep -retired, Corinna Laughlin, Director of the Liturgy Office, and Angela Kison, Office of the Archbishop, for their coordinated vision and incredible support.

Since this celebration, there is a definite hope to secure additional virtual Catholic school mass celebrations through the school year. Special thank you to the Catholic High School Campus Ministry Directors who are graciously assisting us now with this planning. As specific dates are confirmed with the Archbishop and Bishops, we will communicate out to you.
