Catholic Identify Curriculum Resources
Last Spring we had an Early Learning Roundtable that focused on Catholic Identity in the classroom. Following that roundtable I connected with Cheryl Moon, the director of the Early Learning Program at Immaculate Conception Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She has done some really incredible programming in her classrooms with Catholic Identity and she agreed to put together some resources that could be used by all the Early Learning Programs in the Archdiocese. Later this week I will be sending you an additional email that includes a recorded Webinar and written resources highlighting the materials that Cheryl has put together. Thank you Cheryl for your great work and I am excited to share it with all of you!
Enrollment and Preschool Finder Information
Later this week I will be sending you a separate email asking for your current Early Learning enrollment information for the 2021-2022 school year. I will also send you what is currently listed for your program in the Preschool Finder on the website. If you have any changes to that information I will be able to make those for you on the website. You should have the email by mid-week.
Professional Development Day Task Force
On Friday, February 11th we will be hosting our second annual Early Learning Professional Development Day during the All-Archdiocese PD day. We will be putting together a task force that will help shape the topics, sessions and trainers for the day. The time commitment for the task force would be 3-4 one hour virtual meetings starting in October. They will typically be one-meeting a month. Please let me know if you would be interested in being a part of the task force. Thank you for your consideration.
Rhymes and Songs for Distancing
A couple of programs have reached out to me this week to get some helpful hints on any rhymes or songs that programs have used in the last year to remind kids to distance. If there is a rhyme or song you use can you please email me the words and I can put them together and send to everyone.
Thank you and have a wonderful week!
