Getting Bills To The Finish Line!

Action Alert: Urge Governor Inslee To Take Action On These Bills

The governor’s desk is the final stop for bills before they become law.  The legislative session ended on Thursday, March 10, and all viable bills have now been delivered to Governor Jay Inslee.  He may now choose to veto or partially veto bills, sign them into law, or do nothing.  If the governor does not take action on a bill it will automatically become law.  Governor Inslee has until April 2 to take action on bills that are still viable.  Now is the time to urge the governor to take action on bills related to the bishops’ legislative priorities

Send a message to Governor Inslee to sign the following bills into law: HB 1412, HB 1616, HB 1643, HB 1646, HB 1723, HB 1724, HB 1725, HB 1748, HB 1753, HB 1833, HB 1860, HB 1866, HB 1888, HB 1905, SB 5268, SB 5532, SB 5566, SB 5610, and SB 5745.  Details of these bills are listed in the full WSCC Advocacy Newsletter. Thank you for your advocacy!
