Catholic School Survey for Dissertation Work

We are four Catholic educators and doctoral students who lead and serve in Catholic schools. For our dissertation, we are studying mentoring programs for new teachers. The purpose of this survey is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current mentoring practices and needs in Catholic schools in the United States.

We are contacting Catholic school superintendents in the United States to aid our effort to distribute the survey to all Catholic school principals. The results will be compiled, analyzed and discussed in our dissertation. We may also publish the findings in research journals or present the findings at conferences. While all respondents’ answers will be kept confidential, we hope to eventually share the results and recommendations with school and diocesan leadership.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would forward our survey to the principals in your arch/diocese to participate in our research. Attached is a letter to principals and a copy of our recruitment statement to forward. The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete and by completing the attached survey, respondents will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards.
