21-22 MDI Formation Day – In-person

Dear MDI Teachers and Principals,

Thanks for signing up for the Missionary Discipleship Institute (MDI) for the 2021-22 academic year! We are very excited to have you on board!

MDI Formation Day:

Date: Monday, 8/23  Time: 9am – 2pm  Location: Maryknoll Mission House: 958 16^th Ave E, Seattle

Parking: In this neighborhood, parking is free throughout the day, and plentiful (you may have to park half a block away, but you won’t have to fight for it!) Please note that parking is limited to 4 hours on 16^th, so please park on Prospect or on 17^th.

Please bring your:

• Questions and ideas
• Academic calendar
• Notebook and pen
• Bag lunch

We will have for you:

• Coffee, tea, pastries, fruit for the morning and other snacks for people to enjoy throughout the day
• A binder for each of you with the curriculum

During this formation day, we will sample some lesson plans, explore the curriculum more in depth, both old and new lessons, dive into the methodology and purpose of the MDI, and engage in some community building. Principals and other school personnel are welcome and encouraged to join if you are able.
