Survey for March 12th Professional Development Day to be sent this week

Thank you all for participating in our Virtual Professional Development Day last Friday. We had over 150 Early Learning leaders take part in five different and unique sessions. I hope that you enjoyed the presenters and topics and we are looking forward to continuing to create more of these opportunities in the future. This week I will be sending an email to you at the address that you registered for the training with a short survey to get feedback on the day. Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to complete the survey so we can use the feedback to plan for the future!

Early Learning Roundtable: Non-Covid Times connections with K-8 program Thursday, March 18th at 4:00pm

One of the keys to successful conversion of Early Learning students to our school’s Kindergarten programs is how we connect our students and families to the K-8 program and community in our schools. We see this with specialists, holiday concerts, reading buddies, mentor families and more.  I look forward to a conversation to share what you do in your programs during non-covid times to connect our Early Learners with the greater school community. Please come prepared to share one or two ideas you use or hope to use as we learn from each other!

Great resources for programmatic forms and templates

Our programs have a lot going on and sometimes it is hard to find the time to put together a document from scratch whether it be an emergency procedure plan, a medication management form for a participant or a care plan for a Child with Special needs. At the two websites below there is a trove of useful forms and templates to meet your needs. The great news is that if you are a licensed program all these forms and templates meet the WAC’s! Please take a look and let me know if you have any questions!
