2 CATHOLIC IDENTITY STANDARDS REVIEW – Each year we focus on 2 Catholic identity standards to review how each school is embedding the standards into the heart of school life. This year we are reviewing, 2021-2022 CI Standards Focus – WCEA – Mission-Philosophy-Charism/Spirituality and Parents as Partners – Moral Decision Making. Christ in the Classroom (CIC) – Level 1:  There are two parts to our catechetical certification program for Catholic schools: 1) CIC Foundation consists of the local retreats based on the 6 Tasks of Catechesis – these retreat experiences are intended to be for the full faculty to focus on the CI of the full school. 2) Christ in the Classroom (CIC) Level I is delivered through an online catechetical formation tool called Symbolon through the Augustine Institute. This 26 hour online series is intended for all teachers of religion and elementary principals.  Schools can sign up all through the school year to begin their subscription.
