With a great deal of thought and prayer, the Archbishop and I have decided to cancel the in-person meetings in the regions.  I appreciate that for some this will be a disappointment and for others this may be a relief.  We spoke today of the challenges that COVID has presented to all leaders of today, and the need to truly pay attention to the demands that the pandemic has placed on time.  One of the greatest hopes that we had going into this meeting is to build relationships among all participants.  We know that while Zoom calls are good, they do not substitute for the real deal in-person.  So, for now, our dates and times have been canceled.  Thanks to each of you for your commitment to Catholic education!
