What are the learning objectives for the 2019-2020 CEL training?  

The learning objectives will be slightly different for each cohort. See the table below for information about each cohort.

Cohort 1 Engage in year-long focused inquiry and learn strategies to lead department-wide goal-setting and inquiry
Cohort 2 Develop increased understanding of student engagement and purpose in the classroom and how to provide feedback in target areas
Cohort 3
Administrators Create and implement a year-long school plan for teacher learning and growth in a target area

 

Who can participate in the 2019-2020 CEL training?

This training is geared towards principals, assistant principals, department chairs, and teacher leaders.

What is the time commitment for participating in the CEL training?

This varies by cohort. See the table of cohort commitments below.

Cohort 1 3 half-day sessions, Sept 24, Nov 20, Jan 27
Cohort 2 2 half-day learning walks, dates TBD
Cohort 3 1 full day opening session (Sept 23) plus 2 half-day learning walks with cohort 2, dates TBD
Principals 2 full day sessions (dates TBD) plus 4 short online consulting sessions with CEL

*Schools interested in site- based consulting with CEL may also add two additional half day sessions next year for a cost of $3,150. If you are interested in this option, reach out to Kaitlyn O’Leary.

What is the cost for participating in the CEL training?

The exact cost will be dependent upon the number of individuals participating. However, the estimated cost is $200 per participants. Title IIA funds can be used to cover the cost of this training.

What do I need to do to sign up for this training?

A formal Title IIA registration site will open in August. However, we need to know initial interest to finalize our plans. Interested participants should complete the initial registration form by June 1st: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CEL2019Arch. Completing this form does not commit you to participating in the training.

How do I renew my E-walk account for next year?

If you currently have an E-walk account, your account will automatically be renewed.

How do I cancel my E-walk account for next year?

Email mxrenewal@harriscomputer.com by June 2nd to let them know you will not be renewing your account.

What is the cost for E-walk next year?

Returning users with 1 license will be charged $320. Returning users with 2 licenses will be charged $640. Returning users with a 3-10 user site license will be charged $1,000. New uses with 1 license will be charged $420. New users with 2 licenses will be charged $840. New users with a site license of 3-10 users will be charged $1,200.

Will scholarships be available to help subsidize the cost of E-walk?

Most likely. We are finalizing these details with the Fulcrum Foundation, and will let you know as soon as scholarships are available.
